In cooperation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and other state and governmental agencies, PrivateAdventures.com will be the first website dedicated to the alternative, fetish and BDSM lifestyle which is taking the initiative to make meeting others a safer time.
The move, one of the first in the alternative lifestyles, will ensure that a person can be safer in exploring the lifestyles of BDSM and swinging without fear of endangering their safety. "While no site can be entirely safe, we feel that if we make the effort to do searches against the criminal databases which are being made available by many states, give a higher level of confidence in using our sites" stated Richard Meyers.
"It is imperative that we make this effort to help our subscribers, and also make sure that people who have no business being on sexually-explicit sites when they are mentally dysfunctional. But we want to make sure that our members still exercise the caution they would normally would when meeting new persons."
The process will match people based upon a matching criteria of names, birth dates, and addresses as well as email addresses and other factors. Most states require offenders to register all online accounts they maintain online which has a communication or messaging component to them. If a person has a matching percentage which is beyond the threshold of acceptable, then the state who maintains the listing on that individual will be notified and conduct their own investigation. If a registered offender has not notified the state that they are using our websites, they can be arrested as a felony offense because of violation of parole.
The system will be in place by February 2011, and will be run once a month against registered membership lists. "In the effort to make the Internet and our websites a safer place to explore and meet, PrivateAdventures.com and Couples2Connect.com will lead the pack in features, safety, and fun. No other website can make those claims, and they will continue to be playing catchup" states Meyers.
